1 | 2 IHM SOCIAL MINISTRY MEETING
All parishioners are cordially invited to attend the first meeting of the IHM Social Ministry Committee for 2017/2018 cycle. If you have an interest in learning about all the wonderful activities that benefit our parish, our neighbors and our community, please join us. There will be discussion of many topics such as the Outreach Office, Adopt a Family, Chili Teams, Meals on Wheels, Nursing Home Teas, Sojourners, Respect Life, etc. WHEN: Thursday, September 7th at 9:30AM. WHERE: In the convent dining room. WHO: All parishioners interested in Social Ministry activities. If you have questions or plan to attend, Please RSVP to Barb Hanson at bhhanson2@msn.com or 764-1975 at your earliest convenience. Enjoy the rest of your summer and the Labor Day weekend. 5 Care for the Loved One: Care for Yourself
Do you find yourself caring for a spouse, a relative, a friend, or do you know someone that does and needs encouragement!? This information session will assist the caretaker to see signs of deterioration of the loved one and signs of “burn-out” for his or her own self.
